Just installed netbsd 2.0.2 on a second partition on my ibook(approx =
2000 model,320MB,360Mhz,ATI rageon 128 M3 vga) and i can boot it just =
fine.
Problems started when i tried to startup the X server. After grampling =
around the best i could get is an up and running X server but nothing =
more than a chaos of colours and lines on my 15'' TFT.
Opening X applications remotely from another machine works just fine.
It looks like i cannot properly configure my XFree86 config file.
I have used the XFree bundled with the 2.0.2 cd (did not start X),the =
latest XFree (source compilation, worked) and the CURRENT (worked) from =
NetBSD site.
Also i tried the Xmacppc but it gave me a totally messed screen although =
i tried to ajust the VGA settings througs MacOSX and rebooting to =
NetBSD.
If anyone has a working XFree86 config file (for an ibook like mine) =
please send to me OR some directions...
