after a hiatus where I was busy, I wanted to run some stuff again on
NetBSD and my 9500 (sadly the 4400 is gone for good, it died totally
indeed).

I compiled a current kernel... and I still get those nasty problems on
SCSI where the bus is reset and DMA timeouts appear. Fortunately I stil
had one of Michael's kernel from 12/2004 which still works fine.

has there been any potential improvment in X and X exit to console/ in
mc0 interrupt stuff?
