Hi,
I hope someone can help.
a friend acquired a German iMac running OS 8.5 in German, naturally.
To replace it with the English version I thought all I had to do was
boot the machine with the 'C' key depressed using the disk Aid,
initialise the hard drive and re- install 8.5 /6 in English. The
machine doesn't recognise that and goes ahead and starts in it's
German version.
should I be depressing a different key?
I've tried another iMac keyboard and it made no difference.
regards
iain
