I don't know how to help you... but some time ago I used to run Xorg (then I 
switched back to the XFree86 server shipped with NetBSD 2.0) and it worked 
using the same config file as XFree86. 
I think my question sounds silly, but have you previously used XFree86 with 
the same config file you are trying to use with Xorg? In that case, it should 
simply work. 
You could read /var/log/XFree86.0.log and look for lines beginning with (EE). 
This will point where is the error. Maybe keyboard driver?
