I have just figured out that analog-5.32 (Apache log file analyzer)
does not work when built from source on NetBSD 1.6.2. I moved over
the analog "a.out' file from my 1.5.2 system (built from same source)
and it works fine.....
I'm figuring
that the problem is with the compiler, which is a 2.95.3 version on 1.6.2,
rather than the gcc 2.91.66 that's running on my 1.5.2 system. I tried the
usual - disabling compiler optimizations, etc. No go. I'm not
anxious to debug gcc. ;->
What is the compiler situation with -current, and with 1.6.2? Will
1.6.3 have a newer compiler? Will I have to stick with a 1.5.2
system to build analog?
Thanks,
