After a long hiatus from my PowerBook 2400, I decided to try to install
NetBSD/macppc 2.0_BETA from 20040527 sources. I created my own iso and
went through the whole installation process without issue. The problem
comes when I boot from the hard disk. I am running the GENERIC kernel.
As soon as the kernel reaches something close to the following:
cbb0: interrupting at irq 15
the computer spontaneous reboots. I have had this happen when I tried to
configure a network PC card recognized as ne0 during my attempted
installs. Apparently something is wrong with initializing the PC card
slots. This issue never came up in 1.6.1. I should mention that the PC
card slots do not contain any cards. I don't think it would make any
difference but I have a NewerTech G3 240 MHz upgrade in the PB 2400
along with 112 MB of RAM. Any ideas?
