I tried the new bootxx and it works great on my pm7300
thanx a lot....

Now I use a promise udma/100 which works without problems...
The only thing is that it downgrades the transfermode (pio 4, udma/33)...
because of a crc error or read error...
(cannot post dmesg, because I am at work now)

I read somewhere that macppc had problems generation crc32 with i386 devices
(in this case it was a ethernet card) some time ago
does anybody know if this was fixed and if it may be related to my
problem???

Another notice I made is that my pm7300 is more stable now, it did not crash
after a few hours...
it compiled xfree86 and a kernel without freezing or segfault...

But I still have this relocationerror 68 I mentioned in my last post...

Regards
Andreas
