Hi,

I recently got my Beige G3 (OF 2.4) to boot the installer.
Everything seems to work fine, however after I was asked to set the root
password, the installer crashed with the following messages :
uid 0 comm sysinst on / : file system full
/ : write failed, file system is full
Segmentation fault

I tried different partitioning schemes, giving more space to the
future /, but it fails with the same message. A 'df' shows that /mnt is
on ly 18 % full, so I assume that it is the real root that gets full,
but how does this happen ?

Any hint on resolving this problem is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Simon
