With my PM4400, and StarMax 3000/4000, Several types
of G3/L2 Cache slot card works fine.
No any changes are required to run such G3 CPU.

Although we need some L2 cache enabler to get the real
G3 speed. My recent kernel config statement is as follows.

options         L2CR_CONFIG="(L2SIZ_512K|L2CLK_20|L2RAM_PB2)"

I don't have any alkemy type machines. All I have tested are 
of Tanzania.
