Xmacppc does run on this hardware IIRC.  Though since it uses openfirmware's
console to do the display it's not very fast.

If you patch and recompile the X server, it should run.

I tested this patch against the latest CVS version of XFree86 and my iBook =
600
which has an ATI Radeon Mobility in it.
