As said in previous msgs, I just set up 1.6 and am supping now, and I was
wondering about something I didn't think about last time I installed (with
1.5.2):

How do I configure gcc processor switches and optimization?

I can't find a /etc/default make.conf, and a websearch didn't find anything
either. (4400, so 603e)

What is the maximal global optimization setting allowed for NetBSD? -O or
-O2?
