I'm running NetBSD 1.5.2 on a powermac 7300.
Does anyone know whether the mc0 interface can work in full duplex
mode? Right now I seem to only be getting simplex:
# ifconfig -m mc0
mc0: flags=8863<UP,BROADCAST,NOTRAILERS,RUNNING,SIMPLEX,MULTICAST> mtu 1500
address: 00:05:02:ce:73:66
media: Ethernet manual
supported Ethernet media:
media manual
inet 192.168.1.3 netmask 0xffffff00 broadcast 192.168.1.255
inet6 fe80::205:2ff:fece:7366%mc0 prefixlen 64 scopeid 0x1
From googling around I suspect that if full-duplex was supported, then
the following command should work, so I'm not hopeful:
# ifconfig mc0 mediaopt full-duplex
ifconfig: SIOCSIFMEDIA: Device not configured
