Hi!

After your recent code commitment I still had the same problem! So, I
played a lot with my kernel config, because the generic kernels worked
and found

  options        OFB_ENABLE_CACHE        # Speed up console

(activated in my config, disabled in generic) to be guilty for my
kernel panics.

Beside that

  options        COMPAT_LINUX    # Linux binary compatibility

is currently broken.
