For powerpc.. You have to specify since there are both MD and MI bits of
SMP. :-)

There are a bunch of MULTIPROCESSOR defines scattered around the macppc
code, so some work has been done. I think at one point, Tsubai had
something booting on a 9600-vintage DP machine.

Not sure about more.
