I narrowed down my req. to ipkdb re:- remote
debugging.
the only problem is that my embedded system has a
lance (AMD chipset) network card and ipkdb (as the
documentation suggests) supports only NE2000
interface. can soomeone tell me why this cannot be
extended to other interfaces (re:- communication
between target and remote debugger) or what it takes
for me to do the same?

p.s:- I wish I could impersonate that the interface
specified is a NE2000 card -and thats possible if
there is no low-level activity.
