I just asked whether X supports more than 3 mouse buttons.  Looking through
the X and wscons sources, it looks like X declares the mouse to have 3
buttons but there's no reason why I can't have more.  Now what I need to
know is how to rebuild the X server.  Unfortunately I've never compiled
the X server on any platform.  So what are the magic incantations for the
macppc port?  (Preferrably the ones that were used to build the X that
shipped with 1.5.)

I freely admit to being lazy.  My defense is that a canned answer would
save me a ton of time (since the X sources, Makefiles, Imakefiles, etc.
are so mountainous).
