Wow. you ever think of writing some docs for this stuff?

So I now know I need to address this device on pcibus2. 

pci2/@D doesn't work, nor does pci2/ATY,mach64@D. My last try is to drop the 
@D and see that that does. Hmm, no joy. as does /ATY,mach64. 

what else is there to try?
