Hello,
I tried upgrading to 1.5.2 (from 1.5) over the weekend. My first step
was to compile a 1.5.2 GENERIC kernel and reboot with that. After doing
that, though, my system felt *very* sluggish -- doing a `make depend' on
the kernel source, for example, now takes over 7 minutes, while it only
took about a minute under 1.5. Does anyone know what's wrong? This is
on a 400MHz G4 tower, by the way.
TIA, Cliff
