Yes, I tried using autoselect by not specifying the media, by
specifiving autoselect (I think?) and I also tried 10BaseT or 10Base-T.

I was able to get the machine so that I could ping an address other
than 127.0.0.1, e.g. 192.168.1.254 but I could not ping the router, my
other PB or the router and computers in work. We even hooked up a
sniffer and nothing was coming out of the PB?

Thanks.
