I've been hoping to see a .iso image floating around with
-current on it, but not so far...

I don't know about the dir stuff, but i seem to recall
that sometimes on the cd you need capitalized file names.
I don't know when though. Since I never got netbsd to boot
on my powerbook g4, I have no experience (but want some).
