Maybe.  I'm stuck on a ~11 sep kernel as anything more recent reboots 
after a few minutes (G4 Ti). Tricky to see exactly why when X is running 
on the console.

I think I've set up crashdumps so next time I try a new kernel I might 
have something more concrete.
