I managed to find some docs regarding open firmware.

I got a list of devices, one of which is the matrox video card I would
assume.

/MTRX,Mistral@D

I tried setting both /MTRX,Mistral@D and MTRX,Mistral@D as my output
device, no luck I'm afraid... Think I'll try installing NetBSD anyway to
see if it will use the matrox card (I certainly hope it will, MacOS does.)

Anyone know how to get it to use my matrox pci card instead of the onboard
ati with open firmware?

For those of you who missed my last message, I have a starmax 4000/200
with an open firmware version of 2.0.2
