Based on the explanation in INSTALL.html,
you do not need set boot-file if you use GENERIC kernel (netbsd).

Issue 
  set-default boot-file
to clear that setting.

If you really want to set something on boot-file, use 'netbsd'.

This is really timing issue. By setting some delay in nvramrc, it may
be resolved. But I haven't really heard of the success story.
