It seems to hang at that point although I don't know how long to wait 
before giving the G4 the reset press here.  The first drive I have is 
the 20GB IBM oem drive used by Apple and the second is a 4GB Western 
Digital AC34300L (from System Profiler) that was on a PC until I put 
it in the G4.
