This is right. You can make HFS images < 600k, but can't make a floppy with
them nor with non-HFS images; that's what I'm trying to say. But you also
can reduce the size of the image from a HFS floppy and with this reduced
image you could make another floppy (that's what I did). However, you get an
error when you try make a new floppy (concluding: Disk Copy is really dumb).
I don't know why, this needs some investigation.
