I just tested this, and newer ofwboot *can* read from HFS & HFS+.  I
tested w/ the version of ofwboot included in the latest snapshot.  It
still claims (when booted) to be version 1.2, although from May 2001.
The ofwboot from the NetBSD 1.5 release on the otherhand can't read
from HFS or HFS+.
