is there going to be some sort of virtual console driver for NetBSD/macppc
near future?

i remember having read something about excessive memory consumption w/ bitmap-
only screens, but i also remember having seen multiple VTY's on a linux/PPC
box...

wscons doesn't support virtual screens on bitmap-only screens. Like
macppc, sparc, sun3, mac68k, and alpha to name a few.
