Anyone know offhand if this device (particularly the SCSI) is supposed to 
work?  I will admit that I haven't tried NetBSD on my little iMac 
before (I've run it on sparc for what seems like eons now)...

The netbsd.ram kernel reports it to be a Symbios 53c875.  During boot, it
scrolls siop0: scsi bus reset and various 0xe066 cmd's during boot.

[Anyone know an easy way to hook up a serial console so that I can capture
the output?]
