Hi,

I just purchased the NetBSD 1.5 CD set from Walnut Creek. I guess I was a
little confused by the web pages, and thought that this set would work on my
old style graphite iBook. Apparently it is the development kernel (-current)
and not the 1.5 kernel that supports this.

Would it be possible to obtain 2 versions of the -current kernel: one to use
in the install process (I guess that it uses a ram disk?) and the other to run
the installed system?

I would really like to start using BSD on my iBook (I've installed FreeBSD on
my Intel desktop, and am going to try both FreeBSD and OpenBSD on it as soon
as I get it back from my girlfriend. . .which will probably be a really long
time), and was very dissapointed when I started the install process and
discovered that I had to keyboard.

In exchange (because nothing is really free, is it) I plan to post a web page
describing how I installed the system onto the iBook (which has a unique set
of problems, from the lack of a bootable floppy drive to the Open Firmware).

Thanks for your help!

Chris
