No, it is supposed to be same like the one in the netbsd.ram kernel.
Unfortunatly, at the moment sysinst doesn=B4t support the option to use
part of the disk as mentioned in the intall.txt file.
I don=B4t know why it is still said in this text?
Also, you can boot the installer kernel from your hfs-partition using
hfsboot, which you can find on the site mentioned in the next
sentence.

Yep, Makoto Fujiwara has created a really cool page on installing
NetBSD by hand. Have look under

It helped me a lot for installing NetBSD on my PB G3 with an existing
Mac OS 9 on a HFS+ partition.
