    IIRC, you must boot with the alias listed in the OF command devalias.
The patches system disk makes don't affect the OF tree, rather the fixes are
made to the aliases to the IDE/ATAPI/SCSI devices. So it should be ide0 or
ide1 not the full device path to the disk.
