John,

I am having the exact same problem, I have tried to burn two CDs thus far,
one was an ISO9660 file system, which really didn't work at all, the other
was a Mac native filesystem, which gave me the same Unrecognized client
format. I posted a message on Sunday, and expected someone to reply
quickly as a lot of people here seem to have gotten the kernel loaded and
are actually using it. Unfortunately I got no reponse. I'm in the same
exact situation, with only Toast to burn the CDs.

Toast does have an option to make a Hybrid Mac/ISO CD-ROM. It wants a mac
volume as input however, and I'm not sure what to give it for that.

Without a floppy in this system, I'm not sure what to do now...
