Dan, just because you disagree with the approach and it does not
do what you want does not mean that you should say that the patch does not
work.  You are misunderstanding how GCC and the PowerPC architecture
operate, and just being obstinate.  Your approach will not be accepted
into GCC, period, because it is incorrect.
