Would someone in the know be so kind to answer the following:
with OF version >=2.4 there's no need for a bootxx program - ofwboot.elf
can be read by the OF directly. True ? False?
If true: How is it done?
Is it done thru the same mechanism as with bootxx - i.e an apple partition
map is written to disk telling OF where the boot code ( in this case
ofwboot.elf) is ?
Or the OF v >=2.4 is smart enough to figure out what to do when you say
" boot sd@0/ofwboot.elf " ?
And: Is there still a need for the apple partition map in the NetBSD disk
If yes, why?
