I'm a newbie to NetBSD but have managed to get it to
boot onto a 6400. If input-device is set to kbd and
output-device is set to screen you will get "CLAIM
FAILED". The only way I could get the boot disk to
work is set input-device and output-device to ttya and
to use Claris Works as a serial console. In Claris
Works open communications, under settings open
connection and set method to serial tool, Baud Rate
=38400 , parity = none , data bits = 8 , stop bits = 1
, handshake = none and use the modem port. NetBSD will
install on a 6400 but to use the machine after
installing you have to use either a serial console,
telnet client or ssh client.
Hope this is of help
