Just wanted to let u guys know that I managed to successfully
net-install NetBSD on one
of the new PowerBooks.  It still doesnt detect the CD-ROM though.  I
believe it is
a standard ATAPI interface, although it seems to be hidden in the
Open Firmware hierarchy
behind the "mediabay".  BSD detects the media bay but fails to init it.
Therefore
the CD-ROM is never probed.  Any way to get around this.  The media-bay
shouldnt
have any fancy init should it??
