Subject: Boot problem w/ CURRENT branch (gdb etc...)

This is related to my quest to get gdb working. I figured that gdb
might need
the latest current kernel. After a painless compile of GENERIC in the
current
branch, the following error (this is on a G4-400 MHz machine)
pciide0: secondary channel configured for native-PCI mode
pciide0: secondary channel ignored (disabled)
pciide0:0: bogus intr.
And it just hangs.
Any help would be appreciated.
