This code makes some patches to Open Firmware on the G3 powermacs.
It has been tested and works on an early model G3 desktop. This
kind has a scsi zip drive and the cd is an ide master device on the
second interface.  It might well work on other G3 systems.

First, most of the OF patches come from Apple's multi-booter, so you
need to run that first.  Get it from:

see. I'm looking excatly for the patches that multibooter applies.
g3fix does just one thing: it installs some kind of script useful for
choosing between OS'es.
it is kind of not what I'm looking for.
