Hrm.

Using an xterm that's actually running on my NetBSD box as opposed to
the Ultra 10 (running Solaris 2.6) that I'm sitting at would probably
have made that exchange unecessary. ;^>

Absurdly enough, even though there is a vi at /bin/vi on this system,
that's only because Solaris does a ln -s ./usr/bin /bin.

... and anyway, mounting /usr is a generally good idea, so...
