I am on another BSD list where it was suggested that everybody mail
adaptec developers.  An adaptec developer sent back a rather pissed off
reply to the list saying something to the effect that he was the only
one who worked with open source OSes and bothering him wasn't going to
help to speed up support in the future.  I guess it depends on who you
send the mail to, but there must be a better way to make yourself known
then a flood of email.
