I installed and booted NetBSD 1.4.1 on a Power Computing PowerCenter
150,
604/150MHz. No internal console is a pain (I will check my other video
card, Imagine128, but I doubt it works with OF), but for now I can live
without it.
It would help to put the following info in the FAQ:
- in the OF,
to boot from a floppy: boot fd:0 (this one took me some time to dig it
out from the archives)
to reboot: (these were not in the mailing list archive)
setenv boot-file netbsd
setenv boot-device scsi/sd@0:0
(why isn't it done by sysinstall?)
OK, that would be it. Finally, this is something usable after linuxppc
;)
Thanx,
Pawel
