To get your NetBSD/macppc booted, first you have to get
OF(OpenFirmware) prompt, and then type 
>boot fd:0

Otherwise, 
put the floppy in place
boot
MacOS starts and check if floppy is (MacOS)bootable,
it fails
then eject floppy.
