The StarMax is one of those that's based on the 5400 motherboard, right
(Tsunami)?  If so, do you have code to deal with the specifics of that
interrupt controller?  Specifically, the interrupt controller used in
those machines (OHare) has some feature control registers that disable
certain things like serial and IDE and stuff if they aren't set.  I seem
to recall similar problems in either MkLinux or LinuxPPC at one time.
