I thought you were talking about the SCSI disk. _That_ disk we don't
support.

The GENERIC kernel config supports pciide controllers, and wd drives on
them.

But we're still faced with the problem that we don't know how to make the
new machines boot NetBSD off of disk. :-( The installboot method doesn't
work anymore.
