netbooting newbie alert!
I have an 8500 with no hard drive, and im trying to netboot it
completely diskless from a freebsd file server.
0> boot enet
works fine - grabs the bootp info, grabs what its told to grab via
tftp. Im not quite sure which file to grab - generic netbooting docs
say to grab the 2nd stage boot loader. do I need one, or can I just
grab the kernel? grabbing the kernel works to the point where i see
the spinning | then it dies with the message:
unrecognized Client Program format state not valid
can anyone help?
