Well, I have more info on my G3's problems with the latest boot floppy,
from 1023.

With an Apple mouse, things boot, but die after a while. The message
always is:

trap type 200 at 1c7b2c
panic: trap
syncing disks ...done

trap type 200 at 1c7b2c
panic: trap
dumpsys: TBD
rebooting

trap type 200 at 1c7b2c
panic: trap
dumpsys: TBD
rebooting

and then things hang.

This series of events happens if I fire up a shell after booting (say
firing up a shell instead of or from within sysinst), or after a while
within sysinst. As I don't have the free disk space, I've not actually
started installing, but did have this death happen while typing in my
domain name. I don't think I'd hit enter yet.

thoughts?

Take care,

Bill
