.... It seems that you are using inst kernel before 3.1.
As you know, Hauke Fath has fixed that problem. (Many thanks to Hauke.)
Inst kernel before Oct 23 2006 causes that panic.

Make sure you are using 'netbsd-INSTALL.gz' in 3.1 distribution.


I have two SE/30. One has 040 accelerator. 3.1 runs on them.

I've changed C6(1uF 50v) and C7(47uF 16v) capacitors on three SE/30  
mobos.
It makes great.:)
