I'm glad that you explained that to me. Cuz, quite honestly, I never would
have figured out how to send a message to someone in IRC. It's not because
I'm stupid, it's just because I have no intention of reading the
documentation. Why? Because I really have no interest in IRC or chat.

So, then, the question becomes thus: Why did I install BitchX? Was it
because of the name? Was it because I just wanted to be able to use
vulgarity with impunity? No! Not at all, silly.

I installed BitchX because I saw it in a screen shot and I thought that it
looked really cool. Of course, I soon discovered that it was not BitchX
that looked really cool, but, rather, the theme of the Window Manager. So,
it is extremely unlikely that I will participate in any IRC chat, but I
might just lurk and garner any information I might deem useful. ;)

Besides, with the right theme set, in the right window manager (or desktop
environment), BitchX, or any IRC client for that matter, can look really
cool just sitting there scrolling senseless drivel up the window. :)

As for my being banished from the Applefritter forums, it's not really such
tough luck. I mean, I'd rather not be present in a place that does not
respect my privacy. And if Tom Owad things that it's easier to avoid
liability by banning the offended users, as opposed to ceasing a rather
retarded policy, I say to Tom Owad and his admins the following, "Good
riddance!"
