Why 1.5? Anyway, what most likely bit you is rc.conf, it contains a
line 'configured=NO' or something very similar - with this in place
NetBSD abouts booting and drops you into a root shell. You need to
mount / read-write ( mount -rw / ), set up networking and such, then
change /etc/rc.conf to configured=yes. All that should be explained
somewhere in the manual.
Hmm, I had 1.6 running on an IIcx a while ago - worked pretty well, as
far as it goes with a 16MHz 68030. I'd recommend getting more RAM - 4MB
SIMMs should be easy to get and the IIxc has 8 slots so 32MB shouldn't
be a problem. I used to have a bag full of 4MB SIMMs but I had to leave
them ( and a lot of other stuff ) behind when leaving Germany :/

have fun
Michael
