Maybe it did build, but had other odd problems when running.  It's been 
over a year, so I forget the details.  I was on the Blackbox list for 
awhile and the maintainer took a stab at a patch from my descriptions, 
but it didn't help.  Since iceWM worked fine, I went with that, though 
it does take up more screen space.
